President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed Professor Segun Aina, a 39-year-old academic, as the new Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
This appointment marks a significant moment in Nigeria’s education sector, as Aina becomes the youngest Registrar in JAMB’s history. He will take over from Professor Is-haq Oloyede, whose second term is set to conclude on July 31, 2026.
